FAQ

  • All of our chapels are stocked with supplies for the ordinary form of the Mass in English. Other forms and rites are welcome, though they may require different supplies.

    The Meritage Resort has a fully stocked permanent chapel. It can easily accommodate the ordinary form in English, Spanish, or Latin. It is also equipped for the Tridentine and Divine Worship Missals.

    Vestments are Gothic.

  • Yes, you may bring one guest with you contingent on room availability. You may request this on your application.

    Guidelines:

    1. Another Priest: Please include his name and contact info in the notes on your application.

    2. Family: Parents and siblings are allowed, though an immediate sister requires approval. Please note who will be coming with you.

    3. A Layman: Another male guest is allowed. Please note who will be coming with you.

    4. Married Priests: Byzantine and Ordinariate priests may bring their wives with approval. Please note who will be coming with you.

  • Yes! We welcome priests and guests from the world over!

    We request that our priests be capable of speaking English, though other languages may be accepted upon request, especially Spanish. Please add a note to your reservation request for us to approve.

  • Since you’re saying mass at our chapels, we ask that you submit a letter of good standing to your destination diocese and to us at Clergy Hospitality. Be sure to include your ordination and birth dates for diocesan approval.

  • Yes, the hotel will confirm your reservation within a week. Please refrain from purchasing any airplane tickets until you have received that confirmation number.

    Our database is not identical with the hotel availability, so from time to time we need to ask a priest to adjust his dates if there is no vacancy.

    After a reservation is confirmed, we will never cancel your room without your permission.

  • This means that the hotel is fully booked for some portion of your stay. Please contact clergyhospitality@buschgroup.org to see if alternative dates are available.

  • We limit stays to 7 nights, and to no more than 2 stays per location per year.

    Longer stays are allowed by exception only. These exceptions are more likely if they perfectly fill our daily mass coverage or cover additional Sunday masses.

  • Nope! The room, resort fee, parking waiver, and other discounts are 100% free!

    We do not cover incidental expenses which are billed to the room during your stay.

  • Yes, our program does not include transportation to and from the hotel. We will, however, gladly waive your self-parking fee if you choose to bring or rent a car!
